ToT – Blogging Return

I can’t remember the last time I wrote a Ten on Tuesday post. It really is something I need to get back in the habit of doing. There are so many little things I mean to share and more often then not they get posted to Facebook but this is the real record of things for The Pimentals and I don’t want to loose these memories. Here is just a quick snapshot of the busy and fun filled days we have been having.

1. The Pimentals are headed back to Disney in the Fall! Yes, we know that there are other places to vacation but for now this is what our family enjoys and wants to do. We are blessed to be going with some of our dearest friends and will once again celebrate Halloween. Now comes all the fun of planning things out. It makes me happy to hear my kids talk about all the hard work I do to make our trip magical! I am sure I’ll be sharing more as the trip gets closer.

2. Jack has started playing tball. It’s torturesome. I am not a fan and I feel like a horrible mom for it. And here we are getting ready for games in week 3 of 8 and I am already done. I’m ready to get back to the rink. And the good news is that so far I don’t see Jack loving the game like he does hockey.

3. The end of the winter set off my motivation at the gym and work outs. However, I am back at it. And determined more than ever to loose the 8 pounds I put on in the last few months. Bodypump is my current workout infatuation but my elbow has been bothering me. I’m excited for many upcoming races I have registered for. Now more than ever in light of the Boston Marathon, I am determined to be a better runner. Moody St. was last Sunday and then McGuiggans is in early June. I will be Boston Strong.

4. I am so proud of my two big kids. They are both riding like pros on their bikes without training wheels. We gave Lucy an early birthday gift of a new bike. Her legs are so darn long! Jack has decided he is stunt rider already. It’s just awesome.

5. Over the weekend after hearing Tom say “Winner winner chicken dinner!” Jack proclaimed “Winner winner chicken chicken!” It was hilarious in the moment. Maybe not as funny now.

6. The kids are plotting out a summer bucket list and we hope to spend a lot of it on the Cape. July 4th is one of our favorite holidays.

7. Jack’s preschool graduation is looming and when I think about it, the year flew by! It’s been a different experience for us and for him than we had with Lucy. I just hope he’s ready for Kindergarten.

8. Lucys recital is in just a few days. She has been dancing for 5 years and is going to get a trophy. This is extra exciting since it is on her actual birthday!

9. Emme has taken to calling Jack by the name, “Buddy.” Lucy is not happy she does not yet have a word for her. I think it’s pretty darn cute to hear her call for him. She loves them both so much.

10. I got nothing for 10? Keep me motivated to keep blogging by telling me you actually read and want to see more. This rollarcoaster blogging is disheartening.
