Lucy had her first visit to the dentist today and did great! Teh assistant was very impressed with her and I was very impressed with the office. Linda came out to talk to Lucy for a few minutes before taking her back to check her teeth out and do a little cleaning. Apparently Lucy did everything she was asked and even had some fluoride brushed on afterwards. They came out to get me as she was finishing up and told me she had beautiful teeth and she was doing well with brushing at home. She has a slightly crooked jaw but nothing to be concerned about. She got a small bag for her toothbrush with paste and a brush for Jack as well. The dentist came in for a moment to introduce himself and take a peek inside her mouth. They took her picture for the wall which Lucy will see next time she goes in six months. She got to pick a prize and a sticker before we left. I could not have been more proud of her. Of course I took a second to snap her picture in the awesome glasses she got to wear during the cleaning. She was so cute and grown up in the chair.
