ToT – Nov 10, 2009

1. The last week was very very long. We made it through though and everyone is on the mend. Ironicly even having had the swine flu in our house, I stand by my decision to not get the vaccine.

2. We are headed to the cottage for our annual fall getaway. There is something about driving over that bridge that instantly relaxes you.

3. We are very thankful to be going on our first Disney trip next year with Tommy’s family. I am over the moon excited just thinking about Lucy seeing that castle.

4. One of these is about 25 years old. The others are new to the collection and they rock!

5. Lucy impresses me on a daily basis but this really had me wowed. We were sitting eating lunch in the kitchen at the island. Tom, Lucy and I were on the stools when Lucy said, “look we made a triangle and pointed, one two three.” We were in fact sitting in a triangle shape. Impressive.

6. Awhile back I posted a to do list to have done by the end of the year. I have not crossed a single thing off of it.

7. I have a hard time committing to certain purchases. Especially for myself. I am sure my husband would say otherwise. Well, Jack needs sneakers but I want them to be perfect and go with everything. Thus, he wears just socks most days. At least he got 32 pairs for his birthday!

8. Do you have a Keurig? Do you love hot chocolate? Stop & Shop started to carry a Cafe line of K-cups. The DARK CHOCOLATE HOT COCOA is crazy yummy!

9. If you have a little girl, you must check out this site. I just ordered a Thanksgiving and a Christmas bow for Lucy. They clip right onto a soft or ribbon headband. You all may not remember but my mom went a little crazy with hair things. I often had a headband and a giant bow in my hair after being whacked with a hairbrush for not sitting still. I’ll have to find a picture.

10. Believe it or not, I have never gone to a craft before this past weekend. I went to the Boston Christmas Festival and it was huge. There was not a ton of what I was on the hunt for but I did get a great stocking stuffer for Lucy and some delicious salsa. It may be time for me to check out some shows in the area. The creativity is inspiring.

Have a great week!
