After being with us for 5 days, Lucy has decided Buddy can stay. The kid who is not afraid of anything was petrified of this magical elf for the first few nights. Let’s just hope he keeps her in line for the next 25 sleeps. He has had several names including “Poofy, Naughty, and Daddy Pom Pom” but in the end, Lucy decided we should call him “Buddy.” How could I disagree? Hope he manages to stay out of trouble at night. Lucy asked how he moved around and when I told her it was magic, she replied “I think Santa controls him.” 
This week, I asked Lucy to tell me things she was thankful for in her life. It took a while for her to come up with ten things. You can certainly tell a 3.5 year old made this list. Hope you all have a fantastic holiday.

Hoping to visit the big man soemtime in the next few weeks. Here the kids are each year. Look how little Jack was, just weeks old. Wonder what he’ll think this year.
