With just a few short weeks to go before Jack will be here, I am getting tired but am so excited to meet him. I thought I’d share a moment of me being silly. Here I am at 38 weeks, having some fun with Lu’s witch hat after a Halloween Bash with my online friends and their cute little ones.
Trying to keep busy so I don’t get anxious about this babies pending arrival. I now have lasagna and beef stew in my freezer. Most everything is all set for him and I ordered a beautiful Baby Hawk carrier today with thanks to my super awesome mommy friends! They rock! I think the only thing on the agenda for this week that is baby related is to install the car seat. It is going to be super strange to drive around with a second car seat in my van!
When did this happen? Where did my baby go? I seriously can not get over how grown up this soon to be big sister is getting these days. As I dressed her in 3T clothes today, I realized there is just no baby in her anymore. Lucky for her there will be someone tiny to fill her shoes in a few short weeks and I can let her keep growing up. Some days I wish she’d just slow down and stay little forever.
Five years ago today, Tommy and I were married! Hard to imagine so many years have passed by already. So much has changed and the adventures never cease. I love him so very much and can’t wait for the next 5 years. Thank you for being such an awesome husband, friend, and father. We truly are blessed.
