Daddy and Lucy went to see Disney/Pixar’s Wall-E in the theater today. She did great (she thought it was the biggest TV she’d ever seen!) and I would recommend the movie to everyone!
Here are a few pictures from a little over a year ago that really make me smile. She’s growing up so fast!
I have started to get the “you’re crazy” responses when folks hear I plan to cloth diaper this second baby of ours. Well, it’s not that crazy people! I have been promising a more in depth blog post about it but things are busy at the moment. So, for the time being – check out this great info at Baby Cheapskate. This weeks topic is cloth diapering. Lots of great stuff for those of you who may know nothing. And if you are at all interested, sign up to win the giveaway. It would rock my world to win! And here is a great overview of the different types out there. If this doesn’t confuse you further, nothing will. Please feel free to share any great resources you may know if the comments section.
It feels great to have a productive weekend. You forget how much you can get done without a two year old running around. We managed to get the big things out of the office for it’s nursery transition. They are now stored in Mom and Dad’s basement. I got in and reorganized the crap that has accumulated in the crawl space and managed to organize the laundry room into an office space. And the best of all, the office is no longer red! It is a lovely nursery green! Just a few touch ups to do and a pile of clutter to weed through but all in all it is a great start! I forgot how big that room is and can’t wait to see it ready for the baby. So happy to have the biggest part of that project done.
Logan Anthony Tautkus arrived last evening at 10:30pm. He weighed in at 7lbs 10oz and 21 inches long. He is a beautiful baby. All are doing well.
