2007
Can you believe 2007 is here and in fact January is almost over! Things have been quite eventful and the holidays were very nice. Lucy is going to be 9 months old in a few short weeks. Lots of new pictures have been added to the gallery under 6&7 Months and then 8 Months.
December was a tough month for us. My Dad passed away on Dec. 11th. Still hard to believe he is gone some days. We are of course at peace knowing he is no longer in pain and he got to spend Christmas in Heaven with my mom. Below is the prayer card we chose. This poem could not have been more perfect.
God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
As He put His arms around you
And whispered “Come with me”
And though we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay
A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands laid at rest
God took you from us
To prove he only takes the best.
We miss him very much. He was loved more than anyone else in the world.
Our little Lucy is doing great! She hit a ton of milestones around the holidays. She woke up Christmas morning with her first tooth! The second followed a few days later and now a month later she has 4! She also started pulling herself up in her crib. We had to lower her mattress which was sad. My little girl in such a big girl crib but we couldn’t risk her climbing out. She has been full fledge crawling for a few weeks and cruising around the furniture. She really is a determined baby when she sets her mind to things. It is amazing to see.
