How quick they grow…

Blessed

Today I was listening to some music when I heard the songs Blessed and In My Daughters Eyes by Marina McBride. The words rang so very true to me. I wanted to share them. Everyday that I spend with Lucy is so very wonderful. This sums it up perfectly:

I have been blessed
And I feel like I’ve found my way
I thank God for all I’ve been given

At the end of every day
I have been blessed
With so much more than I deserve
To be here with the ones
That love me
To love them so much it hurts
I have been blessed

In my daughter’s eyes I am a hero
I am strong and wise and I know no fear
But the truth is plain to see
She was sent to rescue me
I see who I wanna be, In my daughter’s eyes

In my daughter’s eyes everyone is equal
Darkness turns to light and the world is at peace
This miracle God gave to me gives me strength when I am weak
I find reason to believe, In my daughter’s eyes

And when she wraps her hand around my finger
Oh it puts a smile in my heart
Everything becomes a little clearer
I realize what life is all about

It’s hangin’ on when your heart has had enough
It’s giving more when you feel like giving up
I’ve seen the light, It’s in my daughter’s eyes

In my daughter’s eyes I can see the future
A reflection of who I am and what will be
Though she’ll grow and someday leave
Maybe raise a family
When I’m gone I hope you see how happy she made me
For I’ll be there. In my daughter’s eyes

I hope you enjoy each day half as much as I do! :)

Chase Frisoli has arrived!

Congrats to our great friends, Doug & Lisa. Their son, Chase Frisoli, arrived Sunday morning, 8/27, around 3am. He came in at 7lbs 4oz and 19 1/4in. All are doing well. Lisa looks great for just having a baby!

3 Months!

It is so true when they tell you to enjoy them because they grow up fast! I can’t believe Lucy is three months old. She is around thirteen pounds and about 23 inches long. I’m still taking pictures of her most days. Be sure to check out the galleries. I’ve even started to upload some older photos from before Lucy. Attached below is a file of Lucy telling me a story. It is so great to see her personality come out. She laughs and coos all the time now. We recently got a jumperoo and she is just starting to be able to spend time in it. She stares at the bear attached to it but hasn’t yet mastered the “jumping.” I’ll be sure to try and get her on video doing that as well at some point. Don’t forget to add comments to these posts. Just click where it says No comments to add one. Hope you are enjoying the photos and seeing Lucy grow.

Check out my new hair!
